Cubby is firstly a family dog! He sleeps every night since his first night home in bed with his owner Jane's daughter Leah. Cubby started in a competitive obedience track from 10 weeks old. He is a reliable partner in obedience, rally and agility rings. Highly biddable and an absolute joy to be around. Agreeable with all other dogs he lives with his best friends in the home and plays safely and kindly with his small chihuahua and cat housemates. Safe for all children he is often found playing dress up or guarding Leah by the pool as she swims.
A jokester and prankster paramount he is soft natured and requires very little correction. He has NEVER (even as a puppy) had a single accident in the house. Enough drive for agility but a kind demeanor for small animals and babies. Cubby serves as a therapy dog with the local dog training club that frequents area nursing homes. He has fostered over 28 puppies and dogs from aussie specific rescues.
Cubby will debut in ASCA juniors next month and in ASCA rally and obedience. Our goals in 2020 are a CD and NA. There is no better family dog!
